EU short stay

What this is for
EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens can normally visit Spain for up to 3 months with a valid passport or national identity card. For an ordinary short visit you do not need a NIE, TIE, visa, or EU registration certificate. If you later decide to live in Spain for more than three months, residence registration rules come into play.
Next 3 steps
  1. Travel with a valid passport or national ID.
  2. Keep health cover or EHIC available.
  3. Use the official tourism and transport links to plan trains, airports, buses, and where to stay.

This app is a planning guide, not legal advice. Spanish immigration and administration rules, document lists, fees, and appointment labels can change. Always verify your procedure with official sources before filing.
